This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role in supporting the Site Team in a range of duties to contribute to the security, safety and maintenance of the school premises. The postholder will be responsible for the maintenance and smooth running of the school site during the ‘late’ shift, from 11.30am to 7.30pm but must be able to be flexible in line with school calendared events such as Open Evening (i.e. may, on occasion, be required to start work later and to work on to a later finish time. This role may include the occasional need to work at the weekend. 

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in supervision of premises and health and safety procedures. 

 

This is a permanent contract with a start date of 2nd November 2020. 

 

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1450 students, 288 of whom are in the sixth form.   The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the brand new Arts block and theatre.  We pride ourselves on our high standards and positive ethos, the school is popular and highly regarded in the community.

Lytchett Minster School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
